The Last Transit Map Denver Will Ever Need

Well, not quite. No frequent buses, f'rinstance.

Well, not quite. No frequent buses, f’rinstance.

A thing I’d wanted to do for some time, and a thing which was a bigger pain to make than I thought it would be, no thanks to…

  • The design of the D/F/H/L loop in downtown Denver.
  • The Union Station interchange.
  • Wouldn’t play nice with fonts (I actually up and downloaded Fira Sans for this thing; I’m glad I did, that font and those route colors give this thing a soothing, almost Parisian feel).
  • Trouble with mode differentiation (thinner lines for commuter rail didn’t really work).

Came out pretty good, though.

Before anyone asks, I didn’t show any transfer to Amtrak because if Amtrak is still around by the time this is fully built out in like the 2040s I’ll be genuinely surprised.
